Help with Advance Parole and H1B Extension

Hi all,

My H1B is expiring on Dec 01 2002. My company's lawyers just filed the extension today (Oct 25 2002).
They filed the I-485 together with the Advance Parole on Oct 21 2002.

I'm getting married abroad in January 2003 and HAS to be there by late December 2002.
Question:
Since my current H1B visa (both stamp and the approval) will expire, and I don't know when I'll get the H1B extension approval nor the Advance Parole, what's the best thing to do?

Prefer advance parole because it has more credibility
beside to delay in getting H1- stamped. I guess you should recieve parole withing 40 days.
