1. Fiancée visa (K1) Option:
I understand that in this option, based on engagement proof, I can sponsor her Fiancée Visa. Then bring her to US and get married in US. Then sponser her Spouse Visa (K3) and/or Green card simultaneously so that she can reside permanently and work.
No K3 involved if you choose the K1 option. After marrying in the US, she would file for adjustment of status to complete the green card process in the US.

2. Spouse Visa (K3) Option:
Don't bother with K3. After she gets the K3, she still has to go through the adjustment of status process in the US. Whereas with an immigrant visa, she becomes a permanent resident immediately upon entering the US, and the green card is automatically delivered in a few weeks.

3. Green Card Option:
I understand that in this option after marrying the girl in US, I can sponser Green card in Indian consulate simultaneously with the Spouse Visa (K3) based on the marriage proof. Then bring her to US based on the Green Card or K3 Visa approval in her passport by the consulate (which ever is earlier).
No, with the immigrant visa route, there is no K3.

Could you please let me know where you got the information on the timelines (K1 -- 2 to 4 months, K3 --6 to 9 months)
The 5 months you saw listed is just for the I-129F at USCIS, and does not include the time after that for the consular formalities. The 2-4 months and 6-9 months estlmates I listed are composites of what I've seen of people's experience on this forum and elsewhere. That includes all the formalities involving the consulate including the interview and passport stamping, which can add another month or more (some consulates are slower than others) to the USCIS internal processing time.

Does this mean it is better to get K1 processed in Califorina Service Centre or Vermont Service Centre, as I would like to start the married life ASAP.
You don't get to choose the service center. USCIS picks the service center based on where you live.

As part of the USCIS bi-specialization program, only Vermont and California process I-129Fs now. Those dates you saw from 2007 and 2006 for the other centers must be those few old lingering/suspended applications from back when those centers still accepted I-129F. New I-129F applications won't go there.

Bear in mind that those figures are just general observations and not every single person will fit within those time frames. A few people are lucky and theirs is completed faster than the given time frame; a few are unlucky and theirs are still pending for over a year.

Hi there is a way to bring your spouse into the u.s without having to wait for the k1/k3 process.
If you get married in india and its all legal you can bring your spouse into the u.s on a tourist visa then once in the u.s you can file the 1-130 petition immmediately and adjust the status of your spouse.
what this does is automatically cancels your tourist visa expiration date as it is no longer required.
As long as you enter the u.s legally (tourist visa..) you are lawful to apply for the 1-130 petition and adjust status because your married.
If you try to do the same process to get married in the u.s without a k-1 then you can fall into that category of lawfully entering the u.s with the INTENTION of getting married and staying in the u.s without applying for a k-1 visa.
and shit goes down hill from there.

if you dont believe me ask the uscis there more than happy to tell you.

P.s i did this process its legal ask the uscis

good luck

Strange. I didn't start this thread, but my post is the first in the thread. Looks like all the posts by karagg who probably started the thread have been deleted.
