H4-B VISA Question

Hello All

I have a question about H4-B (dependent) VISA. Is it a must that one should apply for a separate H4-B petition for dependents when there is a valid H1-B with the principal applicant.

Waiting for responses on this one. It appears that H4 needs to be updated as well when filing for an extension or change of employers..

There is no separate H4 petition once the principal applicant that is H1B gets the approval then the spouse automatically qualifies. There is not separate dependent petition.

But you still need to extend it seperately, and apply for a visa stamping at the consulate for each dependant
