Do we need to send paystubs for H1B - H4 cos ?. I have not worked on H1 for a period of last 1year & 2 months - was on maternity leave - unpaid, i only have paystubs prior to that period. How should i file for H1 to H4 COS?. Please advise what are the options available to me?.
If I get a letter from my employer stating that I was on approved unpaid maternity leave for 1 year will that be sufficient?. If the leave is approved by my employer am i still out of status ?.. How long can a H1B holder be on unpaid leave if the employer - employee relationship continues ?. In my case is it legal to be on unpaid maternity leave for a period of 1year and 2months on H1B and stay within the country?
