so I am in my last year of H1B and my employer tells me they can file for LCA in a couple of months and that will take 4 months at least to get it, after which the I-140 could be filed, but it's going to be right before my H1B expires. my question is what are my chances here? I am not too optimistic that the I-140 will be approved in just a couple of months so I can ask for H1B extension beyond the six years. what can I do to avoid going out of status?
