I just got my H1 extended, with the same company i been working for since the past 2 years. My Visa and I-94 are expired, but before that i have applied for the H1, so i think that shldnt be a problem. My taxes, paystubs etc are in order (Atleast I think so...with american consulates one is never sure!!)....
my question is, can i goto canada for stamping? If they reject, or deny to consider the application there and want me to go to india, can i re enter the country? I dont think i will be ready to goto india from there....
if i can go to canada for stamping, do they need appointment like chennai consulate?
EDIT:
My passport is a new passport issued at Chicago, as my old one (with all my old visas) got expired in late december.....would it be an issue? I still have my old passport with me, its just invalid now....
