Hi,
I checked the wesite today the dates available are only from Oct 26-Nov 04. Can you check again please? I am waiting for Nov 10th to be made available to make an appointment. Am I looking at the correct website? I check http://www.visa-services.com/usa/interview-working-online.html every day.

I think it is some problem with visa-services.com website,
I tried the link sent by you and it shows date till Nov 04
BUT if I go www.visa-services.com -> Click on H/L visa photo -> Online appnt process-> Schedule appnt..
then I can see dates upto Nov 08.

Probably its a good idea for you to start looking for appnt
dates this way.

I just checked the website, it shows 26th Oct to 4th Nov.

I booked an appointment (happened accidently) and then canceled it too.

It gives you a check list for all the documents to be sent to VFS Mumbai 30days prior to your appointment date.

1)Form DS-156 in Original, completed and duly signed for each applicant.
Click here to download the form
Note :
Your passport will be returned to the home address noted on the visa form. If you require your passport to be returned to your office address, please circle Q20 in the visa form.

2)Photograph to be affixed on each Form DS-156 for each applicant.
Additional Form DS-157 mandatory for each male applicant aged 16-45 years.

4)Photocopy of passport pages (passport must be valid for atleast 6 months beyond visit)
First and Last pages for each applicant.
Pages containing "observations" or "remarks" .
5)Demand draft towards application fee favouring "American Consulate General, Mumbai" payable in Mumbai for INR 4600/- (non refundable) should be pinned to each visa form DS 156.
6)Demand draft towards Issuance fee favouring "American Consulate General, Mumbai" payable in Mumbai for INR 2300/- should be pinned to each visa form DS 156 ( required only from Indian citizens or British Overseas Citizens of Indian origin)
7)Demand Draft towards logistics fee and courier charges for INR 550/ -
(non refundable) favouring " VFS a/c - US visa" payable in Mumbai.
8)Photocopy of the petitions :
i) photocopy of form I-797 (Notice of Action) of principal applicant.
ii) where the I-797 is a blanket permit, you also need to provide a photocopy of form I-129.

Optional documents (Needed for H4 applicants)
i) photocopy of marriage certificate.
ii) photocopy of child's birth certificate.
If you have previously travelled to the US then photocopies of your US visas issued.

You got to check all the required document. after submitting this screen, there will a confirmation of your appointment and further instructions as to how to send the documents to VFS via Blue dart.
http://www.visa-services.com/usa/bluedart.html

You need to make sure the correct amount on the DD's and seal the envelope in front of the Blue Dart personel.

Please check the specifications of the photos.

Hope this helps guys.

All the best!!!!

I am not sure if at the embassy will ask about your salary or not. It mainly applies during LCA for H1 where prevailing wages have to be mentioned.
Best thing would be consult your lawyers who applied for H1 or any other immigration professional.

All the best
