H1 Transfer Urgent help!!

I am working with company A since my arrival to US in March 2006.
When i joined company A, i signed a bond of 20K stating that i will remain with company A for 1.5 years.
Now, the thing is that i have got a permanent offer from company B, and company B is ready to transfer my H1.
The problem starts here:
Company A pays me salary on 7th of every month. I have to join company B on 12th. If i resign from company A tomorrow, i am sure that they will block my salary and will revoke my visa.
So, i want to get my visa transfered and then resign.
So, there are two questions:
1) Am i legally bound to pay company A 20K, if i leave them?
2) I am not in a position to give 2 weeks of notice to company A, as i have to join company B on 12th
Can anyone suggest me what options do i have?

Can anyone suggest me what options do i have? As per your contract how many days notice you have to give? You can not leave just like that if you sign an agreement with your employer. You may be liable for employer business loss.

Great Guru, Thanks for your inputs. Now the thing is that some say that these bonds are one sided and are not valid. And moreover my project with the third party client has also ended, still do you think that visa transfer will create problem for me in legal terms?
