Hi,
My H1b is expiring in 5 months (6 years complete). I have not applied for GC. I talked to a lawyer and he said he can apply for an extension for 1 more year provided I get a client letter that I have a contract for 12 months. My question is
a) How is it possible for extending my H1 for 1 year if my maximum stay is only for 5 months by which time I would complete 6 years in US.
