h1 cancel and H4 status

My job is getting terminated and h1 will be cancelled from company xyz. my wife just got visa stamped in chennai using xyz 797 form. let me know if she can travel to US and show the documents for xyz company. how soon she should be in USA.what is the normal procedure.
 
Please note that when your US Employer terminates your employment they are required by law to notify the US Citizenship and Immigration Service. Therefore all derivative beneficiary's visas will be cancelled also. Some employers do not do this, however or do not know about this.

You should try to find another US Company who will be willing to hire you and file another H visa on your behalf while your current visa is still valid.
