I have a very strange case please help with valuable
suggestions.
I have a Master's degree from a US University.I got my
H1b in July 2004.
I got a new job offer on May 5 2004.They started the
H1b transfer process
immediately.Meanwhile i was still working for the old
employer.
I quit my old job on 2nd June 2005 and started working
for the new
employer.
But unfortunately mY H1B transfer was denied on July
28 2005.
So i found a another job and they filed for H1B
transfer on Aug 16 2005.
The file went to Vermont as i have a Master's
degree.But we
got a notice saying that the file was sent back to
Nebraska processing
center as it is the right center.So we go the notice
of receipt on
Sept 7 2005.
We have the Fedex delivery receipt that the file
reached them on Aug 17
2005.
Now they have come back to us us for my legal status
between April 9
2005 and Sept 7 2005.
My attorney says that i was in perfect standing and he
is submitting
my denied application along with poystubs from the
first employer,paystubs
from the second (rejected employer) and paystubs from
the third employer
to validate my status.
Meanwhile the H1 application for my wife was approved
on sept 12 2005.
I am in kind of worried.Was i out of status.That's my
only worry.
Friends you guys are experts and have often given
excellent suggestions to people like me.
Please help me.I would really appreciate it.
