H-1B application while on TN with AOS

Hi,

Currently on TN which is vaild till 2021. Have an approved I-140. I-485/EAD/AP applied in October, 2018. Have not received the EAD/AP yet.

My company's law firm previously applied for H-1B three times without any luck. Now they want to apply for my H-1b this year too. Will it interfere with my ongoing I-485/ EAD/AP any way?

It won't interfere but is a complete waste for them. You'll have EAD (you can forget TN from then on). But you can use it if this job ever fell through, so let them do what they want. No harm to you.
