As a Canadian citizen on H1B visa, what should I fill out for:
1) Non-immigrant visa number
2) Consulate where visa was issued
3) Date visa issued
4) Place of last entry into the US
#4) i have found that from many other responses that I can fill out where my immigration processing was done (ie. Toronto airport). So I am kinda sure about that question. However, i am not sure about 1, 2 and 3. I never went to a consulate and I was never given a visa. I mean, i went to the airport with I-797C for H1B approval and I was given a I-94 with 3-year expiration date of my H1B. So what is my nonimmigrant visa #? So also, since i don't have a visa, can i leave these 3 questions blank and not fill anything? or should i write N/A.
I have read at several places that immigration officers don't like N/A response. They perceive N/A response as if applicant is trying to hide stuff. That's the last thing i would want to do (make IO suspicious)
