Hey vinod please let me know

Please let me know how many days you had left on your IAP-66 when you applied for the wiaver. I mean did you apply after the term of J-1 status expired ? I don\'t know if I can apply while I have about 18 months of valid status on my IAP-66 which will expire in 2004 May.

I heard waivers are generally granted when thay are applied for after the term, is that true ?
