getting B1 (business) visa while GC is pending

Hi Gurus,
I moved out of US recently(more than 6 months now) to homeland(India) for good. I gave up GC while it's pending at 485(140, FP done) stage. Now I wanted to visit US for my company needs on B1(my AP got expired).
What are the implications I can expect at consulate to get B1.

I am not sure what's happend to my GC process in US, I didn't care because I gave up for immigration to US.

Please shed some light.

Unfortunately this will be tough. Your pending (even if abondoned by you) I-485 clearly spells immigrant intent. Since it has been only six months, the interviewing consul may think you are attempting a B-1 just to get back into the US and pick up on your I-485 processing. I am not telling you not to apply for a B-1, but be prepared for some tough questioning.

I finally went to Consulate last week and got B1. It seems they didn't care my GC status. No questions were asked about it.
It's regular stuff about the company, project etc..
