formally joining the GC sponsering employer

Hi Everybody,

If your greencard is being sponsered by CompanyA for future employment and you are working for CompanyB.

At what stage ( Approval of Labor, 140 or 485) are you required to actually join and work for the GC sponsering employer CompanyA.

What are the consequencies of not ever joining Company A.

as soon as you obtain the permanent resident status you should start working for your sponsoring employer or Company A. For not working for Company A you will lose the GC if Company A notifies USCIS.
