From searching earlier postings I noticed that you might have been potentially out of status on F1 before. Did that cause problems when you applied for your H1/L1 papers/visa? Could you please shed some light on what happened & how the INS and/or you managed to sort it out?

Hi there,

In my case I did think that they might find some problem, knowing how immigration can be sometimes. But I had no problems with anything. I have L1 status right now and have been going back and forth between the US and Canada. Then again, I wasn't technically out of status ever.
