Just sharing my fingerprinting experience: My scheduled date was 3/8/01 but I tried to go earlier.
I went on 2/24/01 to the El Monte INS Center and they did my fingerprints in less than 10 minutes!
I was very impressed with the facility, it is all done with computers, no ink, all digital stuff.
The frontdesk person didn\'t even check my appointment date. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
The staff was very friendly. I called FBI 2 days later to check the status. Everything is ok and fingerprints
were sent to INS. Now, I just wait and pray to get the approval soon.
I suggest to go later in the day so you don\'t have to fight the crowd.
