Finally heard from USCIS : system checks

Hi Guys,

I am some of the unfortunate people on the board who are still waiting for
I-485 adjudication even though the processing dates are far ahead of our ND's.

Here's my timeline
PD 12-2001
EB3 self labor
Labor Certified 04-2004
I140/485 ND 08-06-2004
I140 AD 03-15-04
I-485 ??? LUD's -12/15/04,06/20/05
Lawyer made couple of inquiries.
Finally the LUD has changed to 06/20/05
i.e. USCIS responded to the inquiry on 06/20/05

Finally I heard from the lawyers:

Please be aware that you and your spouse’s cases are still pending review and undergoing system checks. The notice indicates that the security checks have not yet been cleared by the FBI for you, the principal applicant. Please note, USCIS California Service Center has no control over the processing time for the FBI.
