I just want to let you know that my I-485 and my wife I-485 were approved yesterday. I received magic e-mails from VSC. My Green card journey finally over after 8 years of hard work. I am really happy today

I am really thankful for all of you guys answering to my questions. :) :) :)

I-140, I-485 (Conc) Feb 26th 2004
Finger print Code 1 Sept 2004
I -140 approved on May 28th 2004
EAD3/AP3 Approved on Dec 21st 2005
Name check started on March 2004
Name Check cleared on July 2005 (according to E-mail from FBI)
Spouse name check cleared on March 2004 (with in a day)

I-485 Approval Feb 27th 2006 :)

Did you receive email from FBI recently? I had called FBI for name check status and they said that they do not respond to emails anymore?

Hopefully name checks of all of us who are waiting for longtime clear soon-:)

Congratulations.

What is the way of knowing your name check status these days? My PD is not yet current, but I am intersted in finding out my name check status, since I see so many of 485's delayed bcoz of name check.

Have you done the 10-finger prints after Sept 2004? I did it also in Sept 2004. I heard it is only valid for 15 months and I have not received the 2nd fingerprint notice yet. My PD became current today. Hope something good will happen soon!
