Finally 485 - 2RFEs case has been approved

Hi all

Finally my ( 2 RFEs, one for I-140 amendment and another for re-certification for Labor)case been approved per AVM. Last night I checked the AVM and heard the magic words "This case has been approved on Dec 10th", same day AVM has been updated, including family. I am waiting for
the approval letter.

Here are the case details:

PD : 11/98
LC approved : 4/99
I-140 ND : 6/99
10/99 Company\'s merger
Lawyer never bothered to send any letter to INS about M&A

I-140 approval : 6/00
485 ND : 8/00
EAD : 11/00
RFE for I-140 amendment : 2/01
ND for I-140 amendment : 3/01
Applied for EAD renewal : 10/01
RFE for Labor Certification : 11/01
Replied with a Signature on the
original labor approval letter with new
company details in Nov. Recd by INS 11/8/01

I-140 amendment approved : 12/6/01
EAD renewal approved : 12/6/01

Called IIO on 485 on 12/7/01 and explained that I-140 was
approved and waiting for 485 approval. IIO told me that case
is still pending.

485 approval : 12/10/01

Congratulations. I remember, that you are desparately waiting for your 140 ammendment to approve.
Anyway, you passed all the hurdles and got your GC. Congrats again!

I am really glad to hear about your good news !!
Seems like it usually take 1 month+ to get approved amended I-140
with 2nd RFE case.

I hope my case would be approved soon. Congratulation again !!

Your case was very similar to mine. Enjoy your freedom.
Mine got approved on Nov 29 but my spouse\'s case is still pending.
I received the courtesy approval notice but still waiting for the
original notice from the attorney.
Do you have any dependents who filed along with you? Have they got
their approvals?
 
Including Spouse

Yes, I got approval notices for me and family (Souse and two kids).
I received the approval letter in mail today. Good luck.
