Father in law given 3 mths visa only

Hi everybody,

Father got visa for 3 mths only.

Sent all my papers.

Father in law said that he asked him whether we were
on Advance parole.
Advance porole expires on June 03 .

Consulate officer went inside and checked sometihing and came
back.
I feel that I should not have sent AP copies along with
I-485 receipts and EAD copies.

Has it happened to anybody before ?

Also , I am thinking of applying for ext. when he comes here.

Have they deliberately done this .

Also, how much bank balance is required for applying for
ext. of B2 visa.

What are experiences of getting "No EOS/COS " on I-94 these
days?

Please share your previous experiences.

It's under B-visas with the name 'Parents Visa Extension'
Someone got the visa extended with the following reason
'Reason for extension - spending more time with family, visiting places and old age '. Thread also gives the list of documents
provided.

I myself asked the question on bank balance to several people
and nobody have a clear idea (I have sponsored in-laws and
very recently sponsored my mother and still don't know how much
balance is required).

Hopefully they will get the I-94 at POE with 6 months.
