Hi everyone,

I will be going to the consulate for an interview to obtain the L1 visa. I already have INS approval notice and now I need to go and get the stamp in my passport.

Here\'s my situation:
- been in the US for 7 years, from 1991 until Dec 1998 on F-1 visa
- there was a 6 months and 2 weeks period between graduation date and the date I left the US (out of status?)
- in the meantime, since August 1998, I had a pending application for H1-B visa which was approved, but I chose Canadian residency over working temporarily in the US and left for Canada in December 1998
- In Frebruary 2000 I was approved for a B1/B2 visa valid until 2010 and have travelled to the US for short periods of time (2-3 days) now and again...

Here are my questions:
- since it\'s been more than three years since my leave date from the US, what kind of questions are they going to ask me at the consulate? What has been your consular experience?
- I am scared to show them graduation papers because they might determine I was out of status and create problems.

Any advice would be fantastic, really appreciate this forum.
