If we keep information of employer then you have to take all personal information to achieve security.some of their data will used to identify that particular person.
 
well before we are going to apply in such a particular company, we must have at least some informations about that certain company so that we knew their background.
 
I am totally agree with blacklight. When you apply to any company they need sufficient information so they analyse and give the feedback appropriately.
 
Well if you join any company then company have certain rules and regulation for every employer and they can take your educational documents for their company policy.

yes most of the companies has a rules and regulations to follow, so if you entered a certain company you must follow the rules because you are bound to follow it.
