Hello forum readers,

If an employee who is on Stem OPT, accepts an Employment with e-verified company as a contractor on Client location. After couple of weeks, company said that they does not support people on F-1 Stem opt students.

So how should the student report this to university, will those couple of weeks will fall in bucket of unemployment days or not ?

If you mean that you are now no longer able to work for that employer, you need to contact your school's international office or DSO and let them know, or if you have access to the SEVP Portal for student reporting, update that your employment with that company has ended on there. Any time that you are not actively employed will count towards your unemployment days.
