efiled EAD question

Hi
Both my husband's and my 485 application ( employment based, EB3,husband is primary ) is pending at a local office since almost 2 years. Till date, when we e-filed the EAD renewals, it always asked us to send the supporting documents to VSC and we had a VSCXXX receipt number. We e-filed a renewal last week and this time we got a MSC ( Missouri Service center) receipt number and have been asked to send our documents to St Louis, MO. I am a bit concerned that since this is employment based why our applications are going to MSC.

Additionally do we have to wait for a notice to take the biometrics appointment or can call and do it as well.

Please advise.

Wait for the bio-metric appointment letter

I don't know about the process of sending the supporting documents. I am yet to find out for my E filed EADcase.

My online EAD was filed on Dec 15th and I got an appointment letter for finger printing from DHS lastweek. The appointment is this Saturday. I don't think you need to call to schedule an appointment. Wait for few days and then call if needed.

I haven't signed any documents for EAD yet. My lawyer applied for online EAD.

Can't advice, but have a question, if you don't mind. What kind of supporting documents they normally ask for? Is that a required part of EAD processing?I filed for EAD in mid December and got an invitation to FP already.

I efiled mine and my spouse 2nd EAD and AP in mid november at VSC....the recipet # is always EAC for Vermont Service Center. After printing the reciept i mailed copy of the reciept alongwith the required documentation for Both AP and EAD

We got our AP approved in 1st week of DEC 2006. For EAD they sent an RFE requestign us to send our pics again and also sign the EAD application. After that we have recieved notice about out Biometrics also. Response to EAD RFE i will be sending this week.....
 
national benefit center is processing 2 types of I-765 not only family based, please see the current processing time to find out that there are 2 dates for I-765, one for family based and the other date is for all other types of I-765.

Can you please explain which required documentation do you mean? I found nothing that is required on the efiling site and they sent me a FP notice already... I'm missing something important? Please help!

Well I have always followed the instruction on the link above of how to efile, what cover letter to send and what supportin docs to send. I have received 3 EADs successfully by sending this to VSC :

1. Copy of prev eads and copy of front and back of current ead
2. current ead mailer
3. copy of 485 and 140 receipts
4. cover letter listing all of these things
5. passport with biographic pages
6. copy of drivers license ( could be overkill).

Man, i feel so stupid, but i can't find anything that says to send additional documents on the efile website... :(
 
OK, an update.
My EAD was approved today and the notice was sent (at least the online status says so). It was Efiled on Dec 18th. No supporting documentation was sent with the application or later

I efiled my EAD renewal on Jan 8th and sent the supporting documents on Jan 9th. If anyone else has filed EAD in the same time period please let me know. I would like to know what the timeframe for getting biometric appt is nowadays.
