EB2/EB3? Please help!

My employer is planning to start my GC process in EB3 category. I have MS in Computer Science.

He is not willing to do it in EB2 category.

Could someone tell me the advantages of EB2 Vs EB3 in TSC for an Indian citizen.

Is it something considerable that I'll lose if I go with EB3.

My lawyer says that the processing time for EB2 and EB3 is almost same for Indians.

If processing time are same for EB2 and EB3 then go EB3....Less chances of getting questions back from INS.........Both category have limit on # of approval/year, so look for that also......

Your attorney is right because state SWA will evaluate your case (either EB2 or EB3) according to your priority date.

EB2 or EB3 has nothing to do with LC application processed by SWA/SESA or Regional DOL.....

Only way it matters is when your employer is placing ad for Job. Job requirement should match with the skills (of beneficiary) and reuirement for class (EB2 or EB3).
