Creating this thread to know if there are people who had PD current but yet waiting or had an LUD so that we know at what rates they are progressing once the PD is current.

I watch this thread couple times everyday. Posting message after a longtime. You can see the recent updates from my signature. Waiting for the magic mails. Not sure how many days or years I'll have to wait. I was excited when got the LUDs and RFEs on my 485 and thought I was almost there. I guess not.
 
Notice that your last LUD is 11/05, guess for non-retro it would be mostly name check holding the approval, did you try referral calling up the rep

Folks it might additionally be good to add PD current since e.g. Jan 06, it helps!!!!

Folks,

Does anyone know, what happens if the 485 is approved while out of US.

I have been waiting to visit home country hoping that the PD will become current and I can be approved, but now with that basis that these CIS suckers are going by the RD too and making the best of both the worlds to harass us, it could be 2-3 months before it is approved or even longer, so I am thinking that I will take a trip home lest it becomes too hot in summer there.

Anyone has an idea what my status is if 485 is approved while abroad and what the risks are, how and what the next steps, process works
 
I bacame current on March 01.
Today, I saw my LUD changed to 03/04/2006 without message change. Seems some batch process was run today i.e. Saturday (Holiday).
LUD has changed to primary case only, dependents are untouched.

Besides normal hope that they took out my file for further processing, it could be related to my rejected expedite request I sent last month.

Infact there is another issue with my case. My fingerprinting has expired January 06, so before any processing they have to renew my FP. So this update could be related to that too. But I was thinking, in that case they should touch dependent FP cases too.

I do not know what is happening, but the important thing is that some thing is happening.

Yes, I got the letter saying that my case does not qualify for expedite. My reason was my son's admission to college, no financial aid and international tuition without green card.
 
so guess one of the reasons that time when you sent out

the request the PD was not current i.e. a month ago Is that a correct assumption?

I am silent reader of this forum. was going thru earlier trackers and
found one which was nice to read and add new info.
I have formatted this thread so that we can avoid going thru pages trying to
analyze when our turn will come. Just for sample I have shown below.
The key info which everyone would like to know is
1) PD, Country
2) 485 ND, AD
3) FP1, FP2 , sometimes when your date becomes current, PD may expire
4) Name check.well for whom it is stuck..

And for other info like LUDs,RFE you can always refer to the signature of the individual person.

The list is sorted by PD asc,
anyone adding please insert accordingly and others update information to existing list. Make sure the font is ****Courier New**** otherwise it will not be reader friendly. and all the formatting will get messed up.

good tracker format, however this thread is to see what LUD, progress rather FP,NNCP

is taking place for people who are current and get pattern of how long it could be that the case is touched once the case is current and get some realistic expected time for approval, also how long people who had the pd current since jan 06 say, have been waiting and what is happening on their 485 or LUD

My I-485 approval

Hi, everyone,

My case has been approved, finally!

I started LC in June 2001 via funny "RIR". It was locked in New York State for more than two years. In October 2003, my RIR LC was picked up by Central Processing Group, and was denied, and I was asked to go regular pathway. I did a three-day ad, and My LC got approved in February 2004. After waiting for another year, 365 days, I got my I-140 done. Then there came the I-485 approval after visa number become current. I just feel relieved. Almost 5 years! Three steps! What a journey!

I visited this forum many times. I learned a lot! It is the greatest immigration forum ever. So thanks a lot! Good luck to everyone!
