Others: { All comments pertaining to c(9) category mailed at NBC }
--After a month of tracking and seeing all that is happening to EAD approvals for c(9) category, I thought I might add a few comments.
--You can already see the time it is taking for the EAD approvals { from 52 to 69 days in general }.
--Once you get the approval notice online the physical EAD card arrives in 4 days to 10 days. { If 14 days have passed make sure to call NBC }
--If your EAD has already been approved online but you have not done yor FP/BIO, the EAD card will arrive in 4 days to 10 days after you complete your FP/BIO. And once again make sure to call NBC if it does not arrive after 14 days.
FYI----Please make sure to send your medical (I-693) with I-485/I-130/I-765 applications. Unless you do so it seem to be the cause of RFE which might delay on your EAD approval.

Thank you. Great idea! Let's hope the slowdown in getting NOAs back will not have an effect on the amount of time it takes to get the EAD...
 
zoomzoom, thanks for the info. do you mind adding each member's local district office to the table? i think that will be helpful for us from the same district office to relate to others from the same district office. thanks!
 
zoomzoom, thanks for such a great compilation. I have just sent my application. So will post info here as soon I get a notice. I am interested in AP as well. So please consider it if you plan to expand the compilation.

All these I believe are family based EAD's and are processed at NBC (chicago lockbox)
And to Bhappy22...congrats
Amherst22..you seem to be next in line

Question to zoomz00m

Hey zooz00m,
From your timeline I see that you were done with the FP & Bio. on the 4th day after receiving your NOA. That was in Boston. I have my appointment in Boston 07/30/05. My question to you is, was that your appointment date through the NCSC # or you just walked in at th ASC and had it done?

Can you please tell me if you requested expedited processing as someone else here did?? I am curious since my case was filed at NBC as a spouse of USC on the 19th of April,notice date 22nd of April , fp on 7th May but have not heard from them..
 
I have not requested expedited processing , it was regular.I sent my papers on april 20, 2005 and they recieved it on april 22, 2005 and recieved NOA on May 10, 2005 and finally my I-765 and I-131 got approved on June 17, 2005

I had send in my I-130 and 1-485 in April. So I had the appointment for that on June 7th. Just before the day of the FP for I-485 I received the receipt of I-765 which I had send out in first week of may. So I took the receipt of the I-765 at the appointment I already had for I-485( I had called 42 days earlier to set up the appointment). And thats how i got my fp done.
the confusion you got was because I send in my I-130/I-485 earlier...because at that time i wasn't aware that i could apply for ead. So i sent the I-765 in May.
Hope it clarifies your question.

The list however includes all family based first time ead s applied to NSC.
Anyways...keep posting and let us know when it gets approved...maybe I'll make another table for online ead timeline.

Lucky on FP & Bio at Boston ASC

Hello guys,
I just completed my FP & Bio today (06/21/05). The original appointment was on 07/30/05, but just gave it a try by walk- in. When I reached the receptionist, she asked if I have an appointment, I said no and she said " dont mention here onward that you dont have an appointment, just fill this form and wait for your number to be called" Woww!! that was something I didnt expect. Well cheers!! for that helpful & kind lady and the boston center.

Now back to the waiting time ....

zoomz00m, I have updated my signature, you can update your chart accordingly. Also I would like to thankyou for answering my posts yesterday.
 
Update...

Just for the record...
NBC is now processing I-765 (Application for emnployment authorization), Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application c(9) with receipt notice date of April 25 2005 as of June 21 2005.

Most people here I would say 90% + filed for I-130, I-485 and I-765 concurrently at NBC.
I however on the other hand filed my I-765 after a month and a half of mailing I-130/I485

Thanks guys!! I am trying to figure out why i have not recieved my EAD till now considering they are processing applications beyond by date!!
