EAD Renewal

Hi Guys, if the status of the EAD renewal shows the following, when do you expect based on your experience to receive the new EAD card?

Generally, the EAD arrives in your mail box within 90 days of filing, however, it's not the case always for everyone. We have seen cases of H1-EAD with Advance parole in 78 days of filings or 48 days after bio-metrics, similarly, while L2-EAD back in 2015, it took 90 days after filing or 70 days after bio-metrics.

Therefore, the best time to make an inquiry to USCIS is after 60 days of bio-metrics, if it's not received by that time. My recommendation is to call USCIS customer service if you don't get your EAD 90 days after filing. The first three letters of your receipt notice will give you the center your application is being processed at. For example if your receipt number begins with MSC it's the national benefits center in Missouri. The immigration officer on the phone will be able to tell you which month they're currently processing at that center and you can calculate the time it'll take for your filing date/month to come up. USCIS also provides options to expedite the process if you can demonstrate a genuine emergency. The immigration officer on the phone can help with that as well.
