EAD Renewal

My employer's lawyer had filed 485/EAD back in OCt 2003.

Can I do EAD renewal by myself or should I do it through my employer's Lawyer only?

What are the positives and negatives of Efile versus paper based filing? which is faster and reliable?

----- you can direcly file for EAD and AP

--- Paper filing is better becase you send everything in the same envelope, dont forget to to send Color copy of your driving licence and Color copy of the first page of your passport and new Passport style of photograps with other documents. write out side the envelope in big bold letters: Form I-765 for EAD RENEWAL

I don't have Drivers License or state ID. Is it OK to send it without DL or stateID?

Does doing EAD renewal by myself affect the 485 petition(which my employer's lawyer has filed and holds the G-28 also)?

--- send the enlarged color copy of your passport page and the VISA stamp color copy, if you are dervative spouse then also send copy of marriage certificate

One last question
I have my H-1 approval notice. I can send its copy

But, My wife came here on F-1 and then filed for 485 along with me.
So,should she send her F-1 notice also??

------ not needed as EAD is based on pendingI-485, you can attach copy of
I-94 front and back
But, My wife came here on F-1 and then filed for 485 along with me.

--------- the above is for VSC if your I-485 is pending with VSC send to above address, FYI INS is no longer is is USCIS

--- that is better so that they dont mis your photo with your wife photo on EAD

**** Out side the envelope write in big bold letters: Form I-765 for EAD Renewal and mail it by certified mail

for her 485 you are required to send all her I-20's..

there is NO F-1 notice so u can use I-20
