EAD Renewal Receipt

Hi,

My EAD/AP renewal application reached INS Vermont on 08/26/2002. The checks are not yet cleared in the bank and also no receipt notice yet. Is there anybody who applied for renewals around the same time? Thanks,
 
I sent on the 26th Aug. as well. Haven't heard anything. Checks also not cleared.

RD 10-25-02,ND 12-03-02, EAD expires Dec 02.
 
I just found out that my check was cleared from my bank account today. The receipt date is Aug 28, 02.
 
EAD Renewal

I applied for EAD renewal Mailed on Aug 22,2002
Check Cleared on Aug 31,2002.
Receipt Date : Aug 27,2002
Receipt Notice received on Sep 03,2002. Waiting for approval.

My RD 10/15/2001 and my EAD expires on 12/10/2002.

EAD Renewal Form # please

Hi,
I need to file a renewal for my EAD. I was wondering what the form number for the renewal application was. Could any of you please let me know? Also, is it straight forward enough that I can file it myself or is it necessary to file it through the lawyer ( who will not miss the opportunity to suck out more green from me ).
Thanks for any pointers.
 
I got my renewed EAD card within 3 WEEKS. Isn't that amazing at VSC. My previous application was filed by my attorney. I filed the renewal application.
Here is what I enclosed.
(1)Copy of notice of action of my Form I-485
(2)Original "cut-off Section" from my current approved EAD notice
(3)The requisite photographs
(4)Photocopy of front and back of my current EAD card
(5)Photocopy of my Drivers License
(6)Application + check in the amount of $120.

My application reached INS on 08/26

No sign of check clearing yet!!

do we require driver license?

I fedex today.

My EAD expires on 10/31/02. Do you think I will get my EAD card by then?

AP documents

180member, I sent the following:

1. Form I-131 – completed and signed.
2. Check for $110.00
3. Photos - 2
4. Copy of my current AP.
5. Copy of my I-485 Receipt
6. Copy of I-94 Card
7. Copy of Driver’s License
8. Copy of Passport photo page.

Still waiting for my receipts....
 
Forget about receipt for EAD extension

for some time. I am in the same boat too (sent in the EAD/AP renewal application around the same time like you and have the postal delivery confirmation as the only source of solace).
In fact my response for RFE was sent by our attorney thru FEDEX in end-July and the AVM still has not updated it. So checked with the local INS office in Hartford and they said the same thing too - nothing updated which means my file is still buried deep under. After repeated tries on three consecutive days I finally managed to get thru to VSC and spoke to an IIO and she said that there is a major backlog in the mailroom which will take a long while to be sorted. It will take anything from 30 days to 120 days for the extension approval.

So just kick back and relax.

why did you have to enclose a copy of Driver's License to get EAD renewal ?

is this a new requirement ? but I don't see it is needed in the I765 instructions..

i did not

attach anything other than those asked for, in INS site and I got my EAD in exactly two weeks(RD:08/15 Cards recd:08/31)

I attached the following
1. Check for $120 each.
2. Copy of both sides of old EAD
3. Copy of 485 receipt.
4. 765 application
5. 2 photos each.

Hope this helps.
 
I got my re-newed EAD within 2 weeks;
I applied some time last week of July and got the new EAD in the first week of Aug. My check was not cleared at that time.


I send the
- copy my EAD card (front and back)
- The EAD application form
- Photos
- The original sheet in which the first EAD was attached ( This will speedup the processing)*****
- Check$
- I-485 receipt notice copy

EAD applied 8/22

I applied EAD renewal on 8/22/02 (mailed by lawyer or liar).
Anyone in same boad and knows when i can expect the card.
lawyer says 4 weeks for receipt. The standard wordings...
what legal research they do, i have no idea!!
Since i will get only the card, i dont know if check cleared or not

also I applied for AP. Nowadays do lawyers get or applicants?
what about EAD?
first time i received both last year
