My EAD renewal case is pending. My ND is 10/29/2002 and Current EAD expires with in a week. I called IIO's 3 times so far. I got different answers all 3 times.
Last time when i called 3 weeks back, IIO told me case was assigned to officer and it will be approved with in a week or 2.
I called today again as no approval so far, IIO told this case has not been assigned to an officer and she advised me to go to local INS office after 90 days and get an Interim EAD.
So..don't rely on what IIO's say.
