EAD question?

I applied for my EAD for me and my wife in November and we both got them approved on 9th February and 2 days ago, I received my card but my wife's card didn't arrive. I am not sure if they have mailed it as we have been checking the mail boxes for the last couple of days and we haven't received them.

Question: My wife currently has got a job offer. Can she go to the local office and show that she has got it approved and didnt receive the card in order to get EAD? Any ideas/Any help? Thanks

Usually there is a LUD change when the card is mailed out. Did you have a LUD change and what about your wife? It might just get there in the next couple of days. Goodluck.

30 days rule

Local office will not help, the USCIS rules says" allow 30 days to receive your card, since it was approved feb 9, they will ask you to wait, try and call the customer service 800# and they will tell you the same thing, if you received your card already then it's a matter of days for her, if she could lose the job offer, she might want to take a print out of the approval e-mail with her when applying for the new job
Good Luck

Update on my wife's EAD!

Well, a couple of days ago there was a registered post that a post woman delivered to my home and when my wife signed the post, she asked if she is living in this home and when she replied "YES", the post woman said that she is new to her job and she has received many mails in my wife's name and has kept it at post office. My wife said that she is waiting for some very important mails from INS and she said that she would bring it the next day.

Long story short, the next day the post woman (in the form of god) came and delivered my wife's EAD which is a great sigh of relief.
I wanted to keep you guys posted..

Cheers!
