Hello
I am a TN visa holder (Canada) and I have an approved i-140 under EB2 - current priority date and my TN visa expires in September 2016
I am about to file a i-485, and based on the list provided for eligibility for EAD I think I may not be able to file for this? I am hoping to have my approved green card before my TN visa expires, but being able to file a EAD and advanced parole document would allow me to travel back home during the waiting process, and if for some reason there are delays it would allow me to keep working after the TN expires.
Also - anyone has successfully filed a AOS/i-485 directly from TN? What issues did you have, if any?
