E1/E2 and divorce

Have been in the USA for 7 years on a E-2 visa. Any advice on how Divorce effects visa status for myself and my spouse? Visa was granted in my name only. Also there are 3 children involved. Anybody been through similar scenario?
How does re-marrying a US citizen effect visa. Appreciate ANY advice .........thanks

If the E visa was issued in your name only you will remain in E status, even after divorce. However, your wife and children are here on E visas also as your dependents, as a result it wil affect them (your wife especially) If you plan to remarry a US Citizen it is a good idea to think about otaining a green card for yourself, and possibly your children.
