Anybody had an E Visa before filing I-485 ? I think most of you have H on this forum but if any E visa people here, I’d like you to share your knowledge and experiences.
Not like H or L, E visa holders must use AP to travel, and when you use AP, E will be surrendered. I know that. So, I thought as long as I don’t use my AP or EAD, I still have E status. Today, I found out I was wrong. The time I filed AOS, I’m no longer E visa holder. I have no choice to use AP and EAD which is fine but when I think about worst case scenario, such as denial, I have to start all over again either going back to my mother land or, file E visa just like a first time(which is impossible for me to do it now).
I’ve been searching the process and terms of “from E visa to I-485”, but I cannot find any information yet. Please share your knowledge. Thank you.
