Please could someone let me know if it is possible for to get a duplicate copy of I797 of my previous employer with the following documents?
1. Pay stubs of my previous employer
2. Experience letter from my previous employer
3. LIN number in email from my previous employer
4. Print out from USCIS website saying LIN number is approved
My previous employer did not give me neither the original H1B notice nor the copy to me. And that is the main reason why I left that job. With the above documents I was able to get my H1 transferred to my current job.
Now I need to apply for an extension, for which I believe I need copies of all my previous I797 approval notice.
Please could someone guide me regarding this.
