I am about to renew my H1B visa. Since 9/11 all males between the ages 17 and 45 are required to complete form DS-157 when renewing a visa.
One of the questions is:
13. List all Professional, Social and Charitable Organizations to Which You Belong (Belonged) or Contribute (Contributed) or with Which You Work(Have Worked)
It sounds like they want to know:
- every charity I ever contributed to (e.g. 10p in the Sally Army tin)
- every club I ever joined (e.g. school chess club)
- every profession society (or union) I every joined
- every church I ever joined
This could fill pages!
Does any one know:
a) What they want me to report
b) What I ought to report
Any suggestions appreciated
