I am currently holding a G-4 visa, working for an international organization in DC. But my husband needs to relocate to another part of the country. My employer allows telecommuting. But it is unclear to our HR department if telecommuting would jeopardize my G-4 visa which is very important for me to continue to have. Our HR head says because I would not be locate where my employer is, my visa sponsorship requirement may not be met under telecommuting and the state department may revoke my G-4 visa. But she was not certain and our lawer was not very helpful on this question either.
Could someone help me with this? Thanks so much,
