Documents to be submiited with N-400

If you're applying as an LPR for 5 years, then you ought to send them only if you have employment discrepancies, or extensive travel that might call your residency into question.

Thanks for your reply.

Can you please elaborate more on employment discrepancy ?

Do you mean gap in employment or you mean working for a certain duration for GC sponsor ?

In addition to tax transcripts, do you recommend any other document that should be sent even though it is not mentioned in the three things that all applicants should send ?

Thanks again

Well, if you've worked abroad, for example, then they might question you about filing taxes here. If you've consistently worked in the US, and not travelled for long periods of time, you should be fine. What is your travel history like? Just short trips for visits, or back to back 5 month long trips?

If you've a straightforward application, then don't worry about sending things in that they don't require.

No problem with travel history. Not much abroad. Less than 2 months spread over 3 trips in last 5 years. Never worked outside USA
