Do we need to mention accidents in N400?

Need help on following 2 points:
1. I have had an accident, it was minor, nobody was injured, no ticket but there was a police report as usual. Do I need to mention it on N400? If yes, how and under which category?
2. Once a police officer visited our house. According to her someone called police for domestic violence. She talked to us (me and my wife) and saw that kids are playing, wife is cooking and everything is just perfect. She did not see anything wrong or unusual, she apologies and left. Before she left, she noted my ID (name and license number) just to keep record that she came and talked to us. We never heard back from her or anybody again.

I had 2 accidents when i applied to gc and never mentioned them ever. Never came back to bite me.

Also, the police came to my house for noise (i was fighting verbally with my ex) and no one ever was charged. The police asked us to keep it down.

Nothing came up from it either.

I guess if background checks for i-485 and n-400 are similar then i don't see how if no one was charged, it does not matter.

You're correct. But the reason should not be that since you do not need to report for GC, then you do not need to report for
citizensship.

Green card application form I485 explicitly say "excluding traffic violation" but the citizenship application form N-400
removed that triffic violation clause

I guess it does not make a difference as none of them were my fault and no traffic violation was committed by me.

My attorney for n-400 told me do not bother reporting traffic violations at all UNLESS it was for drugs or alcohol or reckless driving. I didn't. I guess I am not THAT paranoid. I have been a silent reader of this board and if USCIS eventually approves people with CRIMINAL violations one or two tickets IN MY OPINION wont make a difference

but to each its own.

You are completely correct in all your conclusions. I just want to nitpick a liitle bit at your logic for fun. Don't be offfended
