Do we need I 134 for B2 Visitor Visa Extension

As far as I know a self intent letter should do good.
Please post if I-134 is a must for B2 Visa entension.

For b2 extensions I believe that I134 is not a must because sometimes back when I applied for extension in the cover letter I mentioned that I will bear all the expenses and got it approved.

This year I gave I134 just to be on the safer side. I also got approved this time. Though no where it is mentioned as a must.

It is upto you.
