My daughter will be attending school in Vancouver this fall and is moving from the US. What is the best way to give her the necessary funds to get started (housing etc). Should I give her travelers checks, have her use a credit card until she opens a bank account in Canada, cash? I would like to avoid any charges or fees. Your ideas on this are welcome. Thanks.
