I'm a H1B holder and in India for last 9 months due to some personal issues.
I had my employers consent to take a personal leave without salary.
Now, I plan to get back mid-march. I have everything in order for past 3 years.
1. My multiple entry
2. Originals of I-794 from previous employer and current.
3. Pay stubs till the last month I worked. May 2005
My questions regarding my coming back
1. Can immigration ask me why I was out for that long ?
2. My tenure for H1 expires in May 2006 and so does my Multiple entry is that an issue ?
3. I just checked today that my Passport is valid till 15 May 2006. Does my Passport needs to be valid for more than certain period before I land?
4.As I'm still emplyed with the company but not on a project witha client. Will that be an issue for immigration to ask me?
Please reply with suggestions/comments/guidence.
