Current PD, now what????

I am current!! Now what??
My PD finally became current (PD March 20, 2003 - Other Workers). Filled I-140 and I-485in December 2003. Haven't received any noticed about transfer to local office. So guys, what should I do? Does it mean there won't be an interview? If I don't get anything by next Visa Bulletin and the PD retrogresses or become unavailable, does it mean I will have to wait again? I am very confused! Don't know how it works. My lawyer told me to wait. Please help?????

Your PD is not current yet. It will be current in September.

If they don't approve your case and it retrogresses in October (it won't be "unavailable", because October is a new fiscal year with a new quota) you'll have to wait until your PD is current again.

Most employment-based I-485 cases don't involve an interview.
 
Thank you for replying. So, if the PD stayS the same or moves forward, what are the chances I get approved next month? If I don't hear anything, should I get an InfoPass to ask what's going on? It's been a long wait and I am very anxious to get it done.
 
It's not changing for September. They already published the visa bulletin and it is what it is. So you will be eligible for approval in September, although it doesn't mean you actually will be approved then. If you don't get anything by the end of the first week of September, make an Infopass appointment.
