Crossing US/Canada border

I am a GC holder and I am wondering whether I will gett my passport stamped when crossing US/CANADA border in Buffalo? In other words, would the CBP know that I am crossing from US to Canada?

Currently, Canada and the U.S. exchange biographic entry information on third-country nationals (non U.S. or Canadian citizens), permanent residents of Canada who are not U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents of the U.S. who are not Canadian citizens at land ports of entry. Canada also shares with the U.S. biographic entry information on U.S. citizens and nationals who enter Canada.

Passport is unlikely to be stamped at a land border crossing. Everything above that Susie said about CBP and CBSA cooperation is true.

For a Canadian citizen with US GC:
Going to Canada for 4-5 months. If they plan to drive across the border (after 5 months) and stay is US for a few days and come back to Canada.
Will the 6 month clock reset for US GC holder to be outside of US?
