I am on L1A visa working for a top multinational company (Company A). I want to get my H1B visa as another company (Company B) is ready to sponsor it. Please guide me as to how long can I work on L1 visa with company A after filing the H1 visa. Can I work with company A even after H1 visa is approved? Also, do I need to travel out of the country either to home country or to any nearby country once I get my H1 approved? What is the right process for me to follow without any complications. Really would appreciate your guidance on this.
