I will be grateful if anyone with experience with consular processing of Immigrant Visa for parents in Mumbai would share their experience.
I (petitioner, living in US) will be acting as an agent for my parents (beneficiaries)
Specifically, I have following questions regaring Mumbai consulate:
1. Were you (petitioner) the agent specified in the DS3032?
2. Which documents are requested and sent to NVC? I know that for some consulates NVC processes pretty much everything.
3. Does NVC collect the completed form DS230 or does it need to be mailed to the consulate in Mumbai?
4. If you (petitioner) were acting as the agent, did you recieved communications directly from the consulate in Mumbai?
5. Any unexpected documents requested by the consulate or during the interview?
