I’m currently on F1 CPT and a full-time employee with Company A. I interviewed for a contract project through a consultancy (Company B) and during the process they filed for my H1-B and it got APPROVED. But I never joined Company B as the project was put on hold and I was never on company B’s payroll.
Can someone please help me and let me know what my options are as on October 1st I will go on H1 status?
Can company A initiate an H1 transfer? Thanks!
